My Spanish Travels: Madrid


Blessings Guys,
Today is my final post on my Spanish Travels concluding with Madrid. You can see all the other posts and photos on my Instagram account where I started in the city of Cadiz.

Here are the last photos of our adventures in Madrid and I was so happy to share it with you all so maybe one day if you have never been to Spain you would plan a trip there and enjoy it as well.
So in these pics you will see after a nice breakfast buffet at our hotel Catalonia Atocha we walked Puerta del Sol to Gran Via and entered a mall and went inside the Louis Vuitton store and got shock stickers on their items lol then went to Parque El Retiro saw the coolest couple dressed and painted in bronze as Mary Poppins and Burt. After that, we strolled in the beautiful and serene park then back to the city for more sights and shopping , more churros and a late night back to the hotel for an early morning Taxi ride to the airport. 
The airport was huge and a delicious breakfast was available for purchase. we definitely made an impact on the beautiful girl who checked us in that while we were waiting in the ticket line someone handed us an envelope and it was from her with a sweet and thoughtful message. We thought that letter was going to get us preferred seating lol it didn’t but that was ok we saw her as well helping with the travelers for boarding and so I took a selfie with her and gave her a hug. 🥰 
The flight and food were good but when we got to NY I got patted down along with my hubby with the TSA because not only did my pants come with an un removable buckle, I also forgot to remove my thin fanny pack that only had my ID and some Euros. Boy did I feel violated lol and a part of the Series “to Catch a Smuggler” lol all jokes aside it wasn’t funny but it did kill time for our 4 hour layover back home. 😅 
Besides that drama, the flight home was good and I was happy to reach land once again.
The flight to Spain from where we live is pretty lengthy but so worth it! Olé💃🪭
