I’ll be having my annual family Christmas breakfast and I wanted to introduce something new and cute to the menu.
I ordered this mini waffle maker by Wow that makes the cutest gingerbread men.
Ok so for starters, I read the instruction booklet that came with it and followed the directions on how to clean it and use it.
I used Bakers Joy cooking spray after wiping it down with vegetable oil and didn’t need to respray for the duration of my waffle making plus I used mini silicone tongs to remove them easily.
I also put my batter in a squeeze bottle that made it easier in filling the well but my first try was a fail. 🤣
For some reason, I forgot to connect the head to the body so I ended up with a headless ginger bread man.
It looked like Gingy from the movie Shrek but worse lol
But thankfully, the following one came together and tasted great!
Now these are mini and prep time is needed. It took me 3 minutes to make one. So, if you plan to make a large quantity, I’d suggest making them a day ahead and storing them in the fridge then reheating them.
These gingerbread men will definitely add a “wow” factor to your breakfast or party. You can decorate on them or eat as is.
