Sound of Freedom, based on the incredible true story, shines a light on even the darkest of places. After rescuing a young boy from ruthless child traffickers, a federal agent learns the boy’s sister is still captive and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to save her. With time running out, he quits his job and journeys deep into the Colombian jungle, putting his life on the line to free her from a fate worse than death.
Trailer:In the film, A talent scout goes to a house in Honduras and convinces the father of a little and boy and girl to audition to get a chance to be in the modeling and entertainment industry.
After the father takes his kids to the audition, the lady tells him he can’t go into the audition room but has to leave his children there and pick them back up at 7pm sharp.
She then has a photo session for the children and starts posing them in different ways and applies makeup on the girls.
The dad returns at 7pm, knocks on the door but no answer then he bangs down the door in to find himself alone in an empty dark room.
He then desperately runs out into the streets to find them.
Another scene in this heart pounding movie, shows an ugly pedophile looking at children on a computer screen but does not realize he is being staked out by federal agents.
One of the officers sees all the disturbing imagery of this sick and deranged pedophile and decides to leave the force because he can no longer stomach this line of work anymore because of the helpless children that rarely get to come back home.
Homeland security, Special Agent Tim Ballard, played by the fantastic actor Jim Caviezel, while working on the case, turns on a video showing incriminating evidence from the alleged perpetrator they had captured that evening. As he watches this video, it pans to him shedding a tear, then he goes straight to the cell where the disgusting pervert is held and asks him to come out for fresh air to then chat with him and trick him into thinking he is one of them.
There's so much more to this film but I don’t and I won’t spoil it for you. I was nervous and hesitant to view this intense and suspenseful film but I'm so glad I did. It should be a box office hit. Please go see it to help raise awareness of child trafficking.
