What was your life before Christ?
Before Christ, I struggled with a sense of purpose and self. I didn't grow up with my biological father so this caused me to over compensate for the men I dated in my life and as a result, I had relationships that were not healthy for me.
How did you come to know Christ, what age and What made you decide to surrender your life to Him?
I grew up in the church and knew of Jesus but didn't have an intimate relationship with him. I watched my mom navigate some of the worse things in life and she always gave God the glory. I wanted this same peace for myself. I gave my life to the Lord at the age of 20 years old.
How is your life now after becoming a daughter of the King?
My life is not without trouble but with Jesus it is much better. My faith in him makes life struggle much less because I know that he will work it out and that all things work together for my good through Christ. There have been many times where I didn't know what would happen through crisis in life but my faith never failed and I saw God move a mountain.
What is your favorite verse that has impacted your life ?
My favorite impactful verse would be Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
For me, I remind myself when life troubles come that God's ultimate plan for my life is to prosper, to give me a future of hope and I then can breathe because I know it's a matter of time before my father in heaven comes to help me!
What would you like to say to others that have not yet surrendered to God?
Life never promises no issues with or without God but with God all things are possible, God has shown me his mercy and grace and I don't know where I would be without him, he is necessary.

Dear Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose for me on the third day, please forgive my sins. I ask you to come into my heart, into my life and become the Lord of my life. Teach me how to walk in your ways and how to love and serve you. Thank you Jesus, Amen
