I keep hearing that phrase that all religions lead to God.
Do All religions lead to the same God ?
If that was the case then the Buddhists and the satanic religion would lead to God but they don't believe in God and they are considered a religion, so that phrase for the seeker going around is not true.
Now, there are religions that believe in God but are not serving the same true living God. They are being deceived and unfortunately won't be saved and going to Heaven but to hell, if they don't repent and have a true relationship with Jesus, the son of the living God.
In the bible, the Lord says:
“You shall have no other gods before me.”
Exodus 20:3
“This is what the Lord says—Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies: “I am the First and the Last; there is no other God. Who is like me? Let him step forward and prove to you his power. Let him do as I have done since ancient times when I established a people and explained its future. Do not tremble; do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim my purposes for you long ago? You are my witnesses—is there any other God? No! There is no other Rock—not one!” How foolish are those who manufacture idols. These prized objects are really worthless. The people who worship idols don’t know this, so they are all put to shame. Who but a fool would make his own god— an idol that cannot help him one bit? All who worship idols will be disgraced along with all these craftsmen—mere humans— who claim they can make a god. They may all stand together, but they will stand in terror and shame. The blacksmith stands at his forge to make a sharp tool, pounding and shaping it with all his might. His work makes him hungry and weak. It makes him thirsty and faint. Then the wood-carver measures a block of wood and draws a pattern on it. He works with chisel and plane and carves it into a human figure. He gives it human beauty and puts it in a little shrine. He cuts down cedars; he selects the cypress and the oak; he plants the pine in the forest to be nourished by the rain. Then he uses part of the wood to make a fire. With it he warms himself and bakes his bread. Then—yes, it’s true—he takes the rest of it and makes himself a god to worship! He makes an idol and bows down in front of it! He burns part of the tree to roast his meat and to keep himself warm. He says, “Ah, that fire feels good.” Then he takes what’s left and makes his god: a carved idol! He falls down in front of it, worshiping and praying to it. “Rescue me!” he says. “You are my god!” Such stupidity and ignorance! Their eyes are closed, and they cannot see. Their minds are shut, and they cannot think. The person who made the idol never stops to reflect, “Why, it’s just a block of wood! I burned half of it for heat and used it to bake my bread and roast my meat. How can the rest of it be a god? Should I bow down to worship a piece of wood?” The poor, deluded fool feeds on ashes. He trusts something that can’t help him at all. Yet he cannot bring himself to ask, “Is this idol that I’m holding in my hand a lie?””
Isaiah 44:6-20
These religions have idols that can be destroyed and are worthless yet they are devoted and worship them and pray to them and put their hope in them.
“What good is an idol? Why would a craftsman make it? What good is a metal image that gives misleading oracles? Why would its creator place his trust in it and make such mute, worthless things? The one who says to wood, ‘Wake up!’ is as good as dead – he who says to speechless stone, ‘Awake!’ Can it give reliable guidance? It is overlaid with gold and silver; it has no life’s breath inside it. But the Lord is in his majestic palace. The whole earth is speechless in his presence!””
Habakkuk 2:18-20
That is why the word of God should become our blue print for life. All of life’s answers are found in the holy bible. He instructs us through his word. He gives us strength, hope and peace through his word, He gives us love, mercy and goodness through his word. His word is powerful and he teaches us how to use it to combat the enemie's schemes.
You can read Ephesians 6 on your own which talks about the full armor of God so you know what I’m talking about.
I share this truth with you because I love you even if I don’t know you.
Jesus is the way and the absolute truth.
If you don’t acknowledge and accept Jesús as your personal savior then you can’t go to the Father the true living God.
Jesus says "I am the way the truth and the life no one can come to the Father except through me". in John 14:6
To anyone reading this post today,
Do not be deceived.
Pray to God and ask him to reveal himself to you and show you by way by his Holy Spirit.
He loved you so much that he sent his only son Jesus to die for you and for me so that we can be reconciled to the father.
Yes, we are all God’s creation but we only
become children of God when we repent of our sins and ask Jesus to be our Lord and Savior.
“For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.”
Galatians 3:26-29
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.
John 1:12–13
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.1 John 3:1
Dear Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose for me on the third day, please forgive my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and to become the Lord of my life. Teach me how to walk in your ways and how to love you and follow after your own heart. Thank you, Jesus, Amen
