Gigi and Nate In Theaters September 2, 2022

I’m writing to you all during my family vacation in the comfort of my hotel room in Virginia.

I was given the opportunity to view the movie Gigi and Nate.

So my hubby, kids and I made it a movie night in our room.


This film is based on a true story and it is heart warming, funny, and sad and it’s hitting theaters Sept 2 .

I definitely recommend it with a box of tissues.


Synopsis: Gigi & Nate is the story of Nate Gibson, a young man whose life is turned upside down after he suffers a near-fatal illness and is left a quadriplegic. Moving forward seems near impossible until he meets his unlikely service animal, Gigi - a curious and intelligent capuchin monkey. Although she is trained to assist Nate with his basic needs, Gigi helps Nate find what he needs most of all: hope.

The cast in the film were brilliant such as the legendary Dianne Ladd, Jim Belushi, Marcia Gay Harden and up and coming stars such as Charlie Rowe (Nate) and Josephine Langford among others not too mention Gigi the cutest capuchin.


I was really touched in the scene when the mom (Marcia Gay Harden) is  in the hospital with Nate and she pushes that extra mile to get her son the best care needed to save his life.

Of course the scenes where Gigi is helping Nate with his therapy and is actually painting was very well scripted and special too. This movie is another must see in my book.
