Today's post is a fun one indeed!
Culinary Schools. org has cool flash games, activities for kids and teens alike, and an adult section for aspiring culinary artists.
I even enjoyed playing some and as an adult, I got challenged, I burnt a crabby patty in the game called Nickelodeon Cooking Contest
https://www.culinaryschools.org/kids-games/nickelodeon-cooking-contest/
and I wasn’t able to serve the customers in the game called Open Restaurant
https://www.culinaryschools.org/kids-games/open-restaurant/

They have games with known characters like my son’s favorites such as Gumball and Darwin and the Elmore cast, Bugs Bunny, Spongebob, Scooby doo, Tom and Jerry and friends, the Ninja Turtles, and more with no ads.
This fun-filled interactive site that can be played on a computer or on mobile, has a mix of over 150 different games to help familiarize children with food, farming, cooking, the culinary arts, the restaurant business, and hospitality-related careers as their site states because you never know if your child is the next Julia Child or Jacques Pepin. It can be a bit overwhelming but in a good way because there is so much to do.
The games have good graphics and some can be reminiscent of Donkey Kong back in the day with that arcade nostalgia but the other games have colorful and detailed interfaces.
My 16-year-old daughter is the aspiring baker in the family so I had her play some of these games and these were her thoughts on the ones she played.
"I really had fun playing these games and they are educational too like learning how to bake a chocolate cake. This site has many so I would have to come back to play over and over again".https://www.culinaryschools.org/kids-games/bake-a-cake/

As for my 14-year son, his thoughts on these games were:
"These games were unique, pretty challenging and fun, especially the Waterson which is like a puzzle physics game".
Did you know that 8 cups of water equals 128 tablespoons? Seriously, I had no clue but the site offers conversion measurements which is very useful to my daughter and me since we both like to bake and cook. I also like that when I see a recipe from a different country with different degrees of oven time I can see it on their measuring chart from Celcius and Fahrenheit and know what temp to bake or cook at.
This well-rounded website is also fantastic for those looking for the top culinary schools to attend, find training facilities, or for parents like me that are thinking about the future of their children who love to bake or cook. I have no clue where I would like my daughter to attend, but together when the time is right we have the option to see the listings on this site which includes, the school degrees section, career section, and the salary section to give her an idea what the restaurant and hospitality industry entails and for inspiration this web site has real-life bios on celebrity chefs like Julia Child, Jaques Torres, Bobby Flay, Cat Cora and many others.
This blog post would go on and on trying to describe what this amazing site has to offer so go check it out for yourself. It's free, fun, educational, and informative. Oh, did I mention they even have a tip calculator when you go into a restaurant to help you decide what to fairly tip your server? also a clip art section for the crafty crafters? It's all there on www.culinaryschools.org just navigate their menu and get ready to explore.
This is definitely one of those sites you would add to your favorites or bookmark to come back to time and again.
