As for where to celebrate it, I had either Portillo's restaurant in mind or somewhere in Disney so I chose The Port Orleans Resort.
My day started celebrating at church dancing before Jesus and bringing him all the glory and honor and when the good word was preached my family and I headed to Disney Springs to catch a water taxi to the
resort.
After the docking, we got to the Port and it looked very festive and pretty.
I was very hungry so I encountered the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory.
It was this huge cafeteria with really good inexpensive food.
I wanted a menu that day that we could all enjoy.
My daughter got a burger, my son a pizza, the hubby, the gumbo and as for me, I had a grilled chicken sandwich and some pizza. Yes, I went there! LOL ok, I didn’t finish my slice because I shared it with my daughter because I wanted that special 50th edition raspberry cheesecake. I even ordered one to go for the next day that’s how delicious it was.
Then my hubby went next door to the scat cat and ordered some beignets to go.
The Christmas trees were decorated really beautifully at the hotel lobby so we couldn’t resist some photo ops.
In case you’re wondering about my sweater, it was an awesome birthday gift from my dad. You can also get one at The Prayer Movement website. I’m wearing a size small. https://theprayermvmt.com/collections/all
After the boat ride, we entered Disney Springs and walked a while to get back to our parking but it was worth it.
My birthday didn’t end there, when I got to my parent's house they had a delicious red velvet cake waiting for me to sing me happy birthday.
