It’s that time of the year as the Good Lord blesses me with another year of life, which I’m very grateful and thankful for because of the close calls I have had throughout the years.
On December 26, I will be 47 which I’m always forgetting my age either making myself younger or sometimes older. LOL.
I’m very excited to celebrate it this year at the French Quarter at the Disneyworld resort for lunch so beignets will definitely be on the menu.
It’s ok if I’ll be skipping a big birthday cake this year too because I’ll be eating a few on and before my birthday.

I went in the store to get my gift and the other birthday items were gone except for the one I truly wanted which was the Nars Laguna bronzer and lip balm set.
Beware! This gift set is mini. The bronzer is the size of an eyeshadow compared to their original packaged bronzing powder and the lip balm is tiny as well.
But they are great for travel and the bronzer can be used as an eyeshadow too so, win win.
I tried it over my makeup and it gave a subtle bronzed look making it appear like a more natural sun-kissed glow and the lip balm gave out a hint of color but it’s very moisturizing.
For the last freebie although I could have signed up for more like free subs or wings but I left it at that this time around.
oh yes! Ulta has a rewards program where they too will gift you a beauty item.
Unfortunately, they ran out of December’s gift which is a mini Bare Minerals veil powder so they gave me the January 2022 gift, the Advanced Genifique by Lancome.
The associate at the store was nice and just gave it to me since they ran out of the Mineral Veil so she said I could go to another store to pick it up. I got blessed with two gifts.
I will be going to another Ulta soon for it.
The good thing about these freebies is they expire a week or two after your birthday which gives you enough time to grab them.
