Pastor Levi Lusko has done it again with his beautiful inspirational and anointed writings but this time for the younger generation.
“Roar like a Lion” is a daily devotional that inspires the ones who read it to be courageous like a Lion.
This book is written in memory of his daughter Lenya Lusko aka Lenya Lion who is now in the arms of our Heavenly Father whom Levi described as curious about
everything and roared through life like an amazing little Lion.

I personally love that the Lion described in this book represents Jesus, the Lion from the tribe of Judah and the artwork on the cover feels like prophetic art to me.
The illustrations by Catherine Pearson on the inside pages are geared toward youth and they will definitely gravitate to it.
There are 90 devotionals each with a verse from the word of God and I notice he uses different biblical translations like the ICB (International Children’s Bible), NIV (New International Version), ESV (English Standard Version), and NCV (New Century Version).
I’m not sure why he uses these different versions but I’m guessing maybe to make it more relatable to his younger audience.
I also noticed Levi likes to use some pop culture references in his books and in this one he does as well making the analogies pop out for the children or teens to get the picture.
After each devotional, he adds a sidebar in regards to fun facts and history including famous pioneers like Harriet Tubman, the Wright brothers, and the very influential Mother Teresa to name a few in the past who have made a huge impact on the world today.
This 192-page book also contains prayers that can be prayed to God on how to live the life He has called us to live and the author has placed hidden anchors on select pages as a hide and seek game and to remind the kids that Jesus is our Anchor conveying how much God loves us and sent his son Jesus to save us.
I started reading this amazing workmanship with my two teens and hubby in the car and we had a wonderful time of fellowship and prayer.
The kids really liked it!
I had already read some of it alone and I being older enjoyed it, was inspired and very encouraged by it.
We definitely recommend “Roar Like A Lion” by Levi Lusko the founder and lead pastor of Fresh Life Church, with its locations In Wyoming, Montana, Oregon, and Utah.
