Hi everyone this is Cotton my 1 yr old pup son Maltese.
Cotton has been with our family since the age of 10 weeks old.
He has that show dog look with such a beautiful and warm personality.
His gorgeous white coat is not that easy to manage because of all the daily grooming that is required.
Although, I groom him at home except for the deeper haircuts so I decided to get him to the pros and we chose Petco to start.
We chose to give him a shorter cut for the summer and to get rid of any mats that were hard to comb out and to start off fresh.
The downside to this first grooming session was the hours it took.
Even though the groomer was sweet, Cotton was in her care for 4 hours and my heart sank when I arrived home without him . I felt like a mom dropping their child off at kindergarten for the first time.
I decided to go to Petco in the last moments while he was on the grooming table to get a glimpse of him and my dog was getting transformed.
I had to ask a customer to take a few photos for me through the window if not, Cotton would see me and get excited.
He looked so different but oh so adorable at the same time. I was so happy with the results although he looked skinnier. LOL
My hubby said he doesn’t want him that short again but I’m not good with that because this baby is a lot of maintenance.
Right now it’s a waiting game to see how long it will take to grow. As for me I’m loving the face shape and cut.
