Hi my lovely readers,
The month of July has not only been busy but fun and exciting as well.
Here are some highlights starting with July 4th:
We entered our first family and church Florida Hospital Watermelon 5K to support the Veterans. Calvary Orlando sponsored over 100 runners and walkers and because of that generosity the Orlando Track Shack gave us a $500 check and we donated it to support the troops. Yay!!!
This was my very first race and I was very excited to be joined by my family and church family including the pastors. Being it was my first race, I decided to be a walker and the 3.1 miles went very quickly because I sped walked and talked along the way with my walking buddy. Although, I was sore for two days, It was worth it. LOL
Here are some photos:
Now to July 5th:
We went to the Westage Resort where my Sister in law has a villa when in town and we went to the water park there called Ship Wrecked Island. We actually were there twice that week. :) It was so much fun for the whole family.
The last highlight I wanted to share on today's post from our July 4th weekend was celebrating my hubby's birthday on July 6th.
We went to see Ant Man and the Wasp and had dinner at the cheesecake factory. That movie was hilarious and I totally recommend it. Oh, if you do go see it, try to stay til the very end for the post credit scenes only if you like the Avengers movie. (hint )😉
I wanted to look extra special for that evening so I played with my pixie 3 times until I came up with this look. He really liked it so that was a plus.
Well, there you have it this is how I have been spending my Summer. I am teaching Homeschool in the summer too, twice a week but it's all good. Soon my kids leave to a 4 day church camp and I will be home solo with the hubby. I hope you guys have been enjoying your summer, there's more to go so enjoy it even in the little things.
