Hi my beautiful readers,
Sorry for being MIA but I was dealing with an unexpected health issue. Can you believe it? I had a kidney stone?
It all happened on Sunday at 1:20 am. During the day, I was feeling good and even got to wear my new heels. I visited our friend's church and listened to the message by my loving sister in law who is also a pastor and was visiting from Boston. The word was great and when church finished, I went to my in laws for dinner and even got my hair cut from a lovely friend. Then after, I went home to change and got ready for a meeting with our church Youth Leaders, we all had a great dinner and a great time.
I showered when I got home, ate some mixed nuts, brushed my teeth and went to bed then it all happened. A pain I have never experienced before all at once and wouldn't want to wish on anyone. To me it felt like labor pain mixed with gastritis pain mixed with a horrendous Charley Horse. I tried getting up but ended up rolling on the floor and screaming. My hubby woke up and thought it was a muscle spasm so he tried massages and lifting my body up with a belt but it was not helping or working. So then he took me to a hot shower but before I got in I threw up twice in the sink.
I got into the shower but the pain on my right side on my waist wanted to travel to the front so he insisted I go to the ER. I did go and the staff were friendly, attentive and comforting. My diagnosis was a kidney stone that I had passed while I was at home.
Thankfully after prayer and meds, I am back to normal and I don't want to ever go through that again.
There was no warning this was going to occur but It did so and very suddenly, I might add. So if you get a pain you can't resist, please get it checked out asap.
Here's how I looked before all the pain and drama
